I loved the movie Tron as a child so when I saw the sequel opening night I couldn’t wait to get home, download the soundtrack from iTunes and start a new piece of art inspired by Tron Legacy. It’s a horse design with digital flaming hair breaking up into pixels. I like using the Tron style on different characters that are not in the movies, for example the Archangel in my Tron Angelicon poster. This horse design will have a different type of digital appearance while keeping the Tron feel. In contrast to this digital themed design I have a bird project that I will be working on in the Steampunk style that I am excited about.

The Joy of Creation
I’ve found the joy of simply drawing for myself and learned to once again take my time on my own projects as they’re simply for fun with without a deadline. On my previous deviantART id, brainarddesign, I rushed a lot of my posted work to just fill my gallery which was a big mistake I will not make again on my new deviantART id, http://archangelgraphix.deviantart.com The pure joy of creating something from my own mind and developing it into what I want to share is in my opinion what makes being an artist in any discipline great and satisfying.

Tron: Angelicon
I’ve enjoyed the movie Tron ever since childhood; it’s like the first Matrix. I was inspired when I saw that they had made another Tron movie entitled Legacy and created this movie poster using my angel warrior design. You can view this at my deviant art page

W.I.P. podcast
I just started listening to the podcast entitled W.I.P. found in iTunes, so far I after listening to episode #18 I find the podcast interesting and informative.
DESCRIPTION (copied & pasted from the podcast)
WiP is a podcast for Fantasy illustrators trying to break into the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Illustration world from the perspective of a few artists trying to do that themselves. Jeff & Caroline Himmelman and Pete & Ania Mohrbacher are the hosts of the show, but they have lots of guests on regularly to get the full range of opinions on making it in the art world

Tron Angel
I'm starting to feel more like an illustrator than a designer these days, this is one of my concept creations in development, the Tron Angel, which is coming along nicely!

ImagineFX - USA Issue 61
I’m enjoying issue 61, its section on blogging is interesting since I am new to this site and it also has a lot of bloggers URL’s for me to follow which is great inspiration. I have been reading this magazine since issue 3 and even collected the “How to Paint...” four volume collection which I find valuable to have in my library. The magazine showcases some of the best art I’ve seen and is a good learning tool. The DVDs always have great content to add in your studio however, I am disappointed there are no longer centerfold posters show casing the cover of the issue.

Illustration
Another illustration I am working on as well. Here I'm working on the human body's for so I can place armor or clothing on it properly. It is a work in progress as well and like the other will also be posted when finished at www.archangelgraphix.deviantart.com
Illustration
This is an illustration I'm working on to become better at drawing the human body. It's still a piece in progress, when complete it will be posted on my deviant art site www.archangelgraphix.deviantart.com. I still have yet given a title to this illustration.
